Lake Pleasant Chiropractic Walks for Cancer!

Last Sunday our team and a few other patients and friends joined forces and participated in a 5K walk for Myeloma. We had a blast and were among 60 others at Westgate City Center. It was a beautiful day in the West Valley for a walk and a great opportunity to get some Vitamin D (even with our baseball caps on!). Dr. Dias-Zair attended our booth and handed out natural pain gel samples while answering questions about chiropractic and prevention care. We would like to thank Donna, Dan, Brandi, Sadie, Ashlynn LeeAnn, Jackie, Ketha and a special thanks to founder of Arizona Myeloma Network for allowing us to participate. For more information on how you can help support those suffering from myeloma and to help researchers find a cure visit www.azmyelomanetwork.org.

We'll be posting more photos on facebook shortly so please visit www.facebook.com/lakepleasantchiropractic.

Qigong Classes

We're off to a great start and this week is week 3 of 10 for our first Qi Gong series. If you are not familiar with Qigong, it is a very ancient highly respected health practice going back over 3,000 years. It is pronounced “Chee-Gung” and is a method of accumulating “life force” energy (known as Chi) and vitality through a unique system of internal exercise that can focus the mind’s intent or silence its chatter. Without the energy skill of Qigong, Yoga and Tai Chi are void of their real intended purpose, forming your personal connection to the infinite energy of the universe. This is not something considered as “New Age.” One hundred million Chinese begin every day with Qigong exercises to improve their energy fields and their overall health. Nearly a billion Chinese are obsessed with the health benefits of Qigong.

Join 8th degree black belt Master Instructor Michael Leone every Tuesday at 12pm-1pm for basic qigong classes. Our current students are already experiencing the de-stressing benefits of this wonderful practice.

We have just a few spots left in the class and remaining classes will be prorated based on your start date. Call us at (623) 572-4476.

Springtime Purification the Right Way!

Last Thursday, we held a special presentation on the benefits of proper nutritional cleansing. Guests and patients completed a toxicity questionnaire to determine the level of their toxic load. So, what does a good detox mean?
It's not fasting.
It's not drinking a nasty concoction.
Yes, it may involve potential "healing crises" such as headaches, fatigue, mood swings etc. But aren't a few days of this worth the benefits of experiencing improved energy, memory, motivation and weight loss?

We recommend a cleanse 2-3 times a year, particularly because we live in a toxic soup and lead fast paced lives. Stress coupled with some bad habits take a tremendous toll on our bodies, both mentally and physically.

Call our office for your own toxicity questionnaire. We would be happy to assist you in determining the right program for you that fits your lifestyle.
